As a leading provider of construction equipment solutions, XINYU has long been committed to supporting infrastructure and housing development across Africa. From urban high-rises to rural residential projects, our tailored equipment has helped countless clients overcome local construction challenges. Recently, we partnered with a client in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to deliver a high-performance concrete mixing and pumping solution for their rural house construction project—marking another milestone in our mission to empower African construction with reliable, efficient machinery.
Rural construction in the DRC comes with distinct hurdles, and our client’s project was no exception. Their goal was to build a series of durable rural houses, a task that required a steady supply of high-quality fresh mixed concrete—a critical factor for ensuring the structural stability of the buildings. Beyond concrete quality, two key challenges emerged during our in-depth online consultation with the client:
First, unstable on-site electricity was a major concern. Rural areas in the DRC often lack consistent power grids, making electric-powered construction equipment impractical. The client needed a solution that could operate independently of grid power to avoid project delays. Second, the project had a tight construction timeline, requiring equipment that could boost efficiency—especially in material loading and concrete pumping—to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Additionally, the client’s project was small-scale (focused on rural houses), meaning the overall concrete demand was moderate. This ruled out large, industrial-grade equipment (which would be overly costly and inefficient for the task) and called for a compact, yet powerful, solution that could balance performance with practicality.
After analyzing the client’s needs, our project team quickly identified the JBS40-10-84R Concrete Mixer Pump as the ideal fit. This model is specifically designed for small-to-medium rural and residential projects, combining two core functions—concrete mixing and pumping—in one integrated unit, eliminating the need for separate mixing and pumping machines (a game-changer for space-constrained rural sites).
To further enhance efficiency, we also recommended a XINYU 926 Wheel Loader as a complementary tool. This loader has a 1.2m³ bucket capacity and a 2.6-ton loading weight, allowing the client to quickly load sand, gravel, and cement into the JBS40-10-84R’s hopper. Compared to manual loading (which typically takes 15-20 minutes per batch), the wheel loader cuts loading time to just 3-5 minutes—boosting overall project efficiency by 40%.
To ensure seamless operation, we included a full set of accessories with the equipment: 50m of high-pressure pumping pipes (compatible with the JBS40-10-84R’s pipeline system), 10 cleaning balls (for easy post-use pipeline maintenance), a set of wear parts (including mixer blades and pump pistons), and a portable maintenance tool kit.
Quality doesn’t end with manufacturing—we take equal care in preparing equipment for international shipment, especially to remote regions like rural DRC.
The JBS40-10-84R and 926 Wheel Loader were produced at our state-of-the-art factory in Hunan, China, where each unit undergoes a 36-point quality inspection (including engine performance tests, concrete mixing uniformity checks, and pumping pressure trials) to ensure it meets XINYU’s strict standards.
Before loading, the JBS40-10-84R was wrapped in heavy-duty waterproof, dustproof plastic film (with additional foam padding on vulnerable parts like the control panel and mixing drum) to protect it from scratches, moisture, and dust during land transportation to the port. The wheel loader, with its larger size, was secured with steel cables to a flatbed truck, and its bucket was covered with a protective cover to prevent damage.
Using an overhead crane (with a 20-ton lifting capacity), our logistics team carefully loaded both pieces of equipment onto the transport truck. After a 3-day journey, the equipment arrived safely at the port of Shanghai, where it was inspected again by a third-party agency to confirm its condition. Currently, the JBS40-10-84R and wheel loader are being packed into a 40-foot high-cube container (with custom wooden brackets to prevent movement during sea transit) and will soon set sail for the DRC. Once arrived, our local partner in Kinshasa will assist with customs clearance and on-site installation—ensuring the client can start using the equipment within 7 days of delivery.
This project with our DRC client is more than just a equipment sale—it’s a testament to XINYU’s understanding of African construction needs. We don’t just sell machines; we provide end-to-end solutions that take into account local power conditions, project scales, and timelines.
For rural construction projects across Africa, the JBS40-10-84R Concrete Mixer Pump stands out as a cost-effective, reliable choice. Its diesel power, compact design, and integrated mixing-pumping function make it ideal for areas with limited infrastructure, while its low operational costs help clients maximize their budgets.
As the equipment makes its way to the DRC, we’re already looking forward to hearing about the client’s progress—from the first batch of concrete poured to the completion of the rural houses. And for other African clients facing similar construction challenges, XINYU remains ready to deliver tailored solutions that turn project goals into reality.
