Location:
As a model of economic growth in West Africa, Ghana has seen a continuous increase in demand for infrastructure construction in recent years, especially the Port of Tema, the country’s largest commercial port, which undertakes more than 80% of logistics transportation and is an important cargo distribution hub in West Africa. In order to accelerate the expansion of the port and the construction of surrounding industrial zones, a large local construction company urgently needs efficient and reliable concrete construction equipment. In this context, we customized a 4CBM self-loading concrete mixer truck solution for it and completed delivery in 2023 to help the project advance efficiently.
Customer Needs and Challenges:
Ⅰ. Efficient integrated design:
The equipment integrates mixing, loading and transportation functions, with a single loading capacity of 4 cubic meters, which can operate continuously, significantly shorten the concrete supply cycle, and meet the high-intensity construction needs of the port.
Adopting an intelligent control system, it supports one-button operation and reduces the technical dependence on operators.
Ⅱ. Excellent adaptability and reliability:
The chassis is made of high-strength alloy material, equipped with a reinforced frame and wide tire design, which adapts to the rainy and muddy construction environment in Ghana and ensures stability under complex road conditions.
The power system is optimized and equipped with a low-fuel consumption engine, taking into account power output and economy, which meets the local fuel cost control needs.
Ⅲ. Localized service guarantee:
The technical team is dispatched to guide the installation and commissioning on site, and the equipment is put into production within 1 month, and local operators are trained to ensure the long-term and stable operation of the equipment.
Provide all-weather remote support and rapid supply of accessories to solve customer worries.
Efficiency improvement: After the equipment was put into production, the daily output of concrete increased by 40%, helping customers to complete the phased construction goals of the port terminal ahead of schedule, laying the foundation for the annual throughput of Tema Port to exceed 3.5 million standard containers.
Customer evaluation:
“The performance of China’s XINYU equipment far exceeded expectations! From installation to operation, the whole process is efficient and professional, which solved our problem of shortage of technical talents. We look forward to long-term cooperation in the future.”

Building a Model of the Belt and Road Initiative:
The project responds to the Belt and Road Initiative and promotes in-depth cooperation between China and Canada in the field of infrastructure through equipment export and technology output, and strengthens regional economic connectivity in West Africa.
Green and Sustainability:
The equipment adopts a low-emission design, which is in line with the sustainable development goals promoted by the Ghanaian government, while reducing the impact of construction on the surrounding ecology.
The successful delivery of the 4CBM self-loading concrete mixer truck not only demonstrates the technical strength of China’s construction machinery, but also becomes a microcosm of the win-win cooperation between China and Africa. In the future, XINYU will continue to focus on customer needs, support intelligent and localized services, and contribute the “Chinese solution” to global infrastructure.
